APJ Abdul Kalam Medical Institute established in 2022 at Hooghly district of west Bengal in India. The motto of the organization is “Service to Humanity”. Since its inception in 2022, the association is providing consistent service to the society & its members, which provided an opportunity to the APJAKMI ( APJ Abdul Kalam Medical Institute ) authority to understand scarcity of qualified pharmacist in the areas like medical shop, community & hospital services, nursing homes, clinical pharmacies etc. and also realized that the number of pharmacists catering in West Bengal are not enough. To face challenges ahead in the profession of pharmacy and also to fulfill the cherished dream of few predecessors, APJAKMI ventured to start a pharmacy college under its own management and founded “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Educational Trust”.
“Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Educational Trust” is duly registered by the competent authority. The motto of the trust is “upgrading of pharmacy profession” in West Bengal in particular and India in general.
Based on the above motto, “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Educational Trust” established “APJ Abdul Kalam Medical Institute” in 2022, at Pandua, P.O - Pandua, P.S – Pandua, Dist – Hooghly, Pin – 712149, fully from philanthropic view point. The college got due approval from West Bngal State Council Of Technical And Vocational Education And Skill Development (WBSCTVESD) authority.
The College is situated in a place of picturesque scenery and natural beauty. The self contented campus has a collegiate atmosphere and the authority is very proud to inform all that, the APJ Abdul Kalam Medical Institute is RAGGING FREE ACADEMIC INSTITUTION and is committed to continue the tradition at any cost. The College is conveniently connected by road transport and railways. The nearest railway station of this institute is ‘Pandua’.
