There is an active Alumni Association of the college named “APJAKMI (APJ Abdul Kalam Medical Institute)”. A good number of students have registered themselves as members of this association. The alumni is headed by Principal as ex-officio President, students are chosen for the other post including vice president and general secretary, few teachers are as advisor of the same body.
The members are to meet at regular intervals for performing various activities for the benefit of college and its members. The Alumni Association provides valuable advice to the college administration for better running of the college. On the pre notified date in every year, the Alumni Association organizes a reunion keeping in view the maximum participation of the former students. Many former students gather in the reunion and relish their old memories with the college.
